Baby Shower Layout

I absolutely love scrapbook layouts, but if I'm not inspired by something, I will stick to my usual sketch. LOL. So don't be surprised if you see way more layouts with this same figuration, just different patterns. :) I made this layout sometime after my baby shower and it's probably one of my favorites. Wasn't my baby shower cake just beautiful? And yes, my shower colors were pink and black which is still what most of my daughter's wardrobe is. LOL. I cut the Baby Shower title from Alphalicious which is a way awesome font. :)

Frankenstein treat bags!

I volunteered to make my son Bradley's class a bunch of treat bags for school so when my husband took me to Archivers last week in KY, I saw these I knew they were it! I don't know how Archivers designed theirs, but I made my using George and Basic Shapes. (Remember my witch card?? Same strategy!) His hair is welded using a rectangle cut at 1" and 4 brackets welded together for the little grooves. His eyes are circles and his eyebrows and lips are rectangles. THATS IT! Super cute right? I was thinking about making them all Frankenstein but I might make some other monsters and post them up. :)

Happy Halloween layout

I had a video planned for today but we got home at 2am this morning and after a morning of cleaning and catching up, i'm EXHAUSTED! I did want to relax a little and scrap some bit so I made an 8x8 Halloween layout. I believe by this point we all know what image is my fave from Happy Hauntings. LOL. :) The paper is Bo Bunny and the font is from Alphalicious.

Trick Or Treat 8x8 layout

This is seriously becoming my favorite size of scrapbook layouts! I am going to be purchasing a Cinch in the upcoming month, so I'm hoping to be able to put these into a book to send to my sister who will be going to Afghanistan in November. Please keep her in your prayers!! I got this idea from a book I was looking at at Michaels and I just fell in love with it.

The letters are from George and Basic Shapes cut at 1 1/4" as are the brackets and circles. Don't you just love how much you can do with this cart? =)

Circle Friday Challenge Entry

I usually don't enter challenges, A) because I am horrible at even keeping track of all the blogs with them and B)i'm so far behind on my actual pages that sometimes I just don't have the opportunity. Well, I'm trying to get more involved and I decided to enter the Cricut Circle Friday Challenge because it's MY kind of challenge. Pink, scallops and jewels! (Well, jewel in my case!). I made an 8x8 layout for what will contain pics of my daughter's bday pics and let me tell you, i'm falling in LOVE with the smaller pages! Easier to make and not so much paper wasted! I think i'm gonna make the kids some of the scrapbooks soon! =)

Cartridges used: Best Friends and Scallop from the Imagine machine.
DCWV paper stack: All Dressed Up

Boys will be Boys Scrapbook layout

Yay! My sweet friend over on the MBs sent me the Boys will be Boys cartridge early in exchange for my Shall We Dance cart later. I'm so excited because this cart is perfect for the stuff I'm working on for my sons' books! I did the "Good Times" cut from Imagine More, but the rest of the layout is made for BWBB. =)

Witch Hat Basket

I will be in my first ever blog hop next weekend, hosted by Crazy by Cricut, and to start counting down, I've decided to start making some Halloween stuff! I made this Witch Hat basket using a black 12x12 cardstock, A Halloween Recollections paper pack and the Witch's hat from Happy Hauntings. It's a little complicated so I will post directions on a video very soon! Enjoy! :)

Imagine Cupcake Card

I am starting to feel better so today while my kiddos where playing, I decided it was time to really try to get a feel for my Imagine. I love cupcakes so I decided to combine a cupcake from Sweet Treats (my favorite cart!) and Nursery Tails for the patterns. My favorite thing about the Imagine carts is that you don't have to worry about the patterns not matching which saves me a lot of time! I cut the scallop background from the images on the machine itself, using a darker pink and the inside scallop is actually from the DCWV paper stack, All Dressed Up, which is very girly and VERY adorable! The cupcake itself was cut with a pattern from Nursery Tails as where all the layers. A simple black ribbon to finish it off and you have what come become a birthday card! :)

**Also- check back tomorrow as I get to be PinkCricut's guest designer! Super excited since it's my first time designing for anyone else!**

First Imagine Layout! :)

So my Imagine came on Monday (woohoo!!) but of course, this cold that I have has been progressively getting worse so I haven't really been able to really "play" with it much. I couldn't take it anymore so finally played with it and let me tell ya, SO MUCH FUN, but intimidating! Not gonna lie! My husband is really impressed at what it can do already, imagine (hehe;) what it'll be able to do once the Gypsy update is available! :) So I have noticed that my scrapbooking has gotten further and further behind, so in my attempt to start it back up, I came up with this layout. SO SIMPLE and SO FAST to do on the Imagine! Omg. LOL. But I am still absolutely in love with my Expressions machine so I plan on going back and forth between them. :) Hope you enjoy!

Keep on Truckin card

I usually have a hard time with boy cards but after getting PinkCricut's Oh Boy! stamp set, I just had to bust out my Lite cartridge, B is for Boy and it's PERFECT! Too cute right? =)
