Baby Steps Birthday Card
Hey everyone! Sorry it's taken me awhile to post on here, i've just been really busy and then of course on Tuesday had to have a tooth extraction!
Funny story about the Baby Steps cartridge.I had complained about having enough baby cartridges and I definitely didn't need this one and of course, went to Joann's with my daughter yesterday and saw that the carts were $34.99 and there were 2 of these left. I took a look at it and FELL IN LOVE! LOL Don't you hate when you are wrong?! Not in this case because I got me a new cart! LOL So I finally got some crafting done this morning and I made a card for our niece who turned 1 on Wednesday. I used Birthday Bash for the card base, Baby Steps for the little toddler and my Hopscotch Imagine pattern for the blue background and Best Friends for the balloons.I then added a little faux stitching and some iRock jewels to bling it up a little. I'm really happy with how this card turned out, it just screams out cute! :)
**Don't forget to continue posting about my 500 giveaway for the Wrap It Up cartridge!**

Life’s a Party video and Giveaway info!
Hey guys! I made this quick video this morning and I hope you enjoy it! I just wanted to show you these cool little glasses I made from the Life's A Party cartridge. So cute, but they came out SO big, even at 4"! Looks like resizing is in order! :)
**Please don't mind my messy craft mat…I've been doing lots of gluing!**
500 Follower Giveaway!!! :)
**Leave your comments here now and I will select a winner when I reach 500 followers!!**
Hey everyone!! I am SO super excited for this post because I have a pretty cool giveaway for you all! (And your friends!) ;) When I first started my blog last year, I remember sitting in the car checking my iPhone and I got so excited when I had reached 37 followers. My husband and I were on our way to dinner and I told him "How cool! That means that 37 people actually care what I'm doing and creating!". I had no idea that I'd be sitting here now at almost 500 followers! God is good and it means so much to me that I have so many online friends who share my same passion and hobby J Today is also a GREAT day because my husband starts his new job! We are so blessed that he was only out of work for 3 weeks in this bad economy, but I can tell you that it has changed me! I no longer take anything for granted and my heart aches for those who might be going through a similar situation. It's not easy, especially when you have an entire family to take care of so my hearts go out to every single one of you! Keep your faith strong, I promise it'll be worth it! J
So to celebrate the good that is happening in my life, I wanted to have a giveaway! I recently purchased the cart "Wrap It Up" and while I love the images, I had just gotten about 6 carts in that week and felt that I didn't "truly" need it so I'd love for it to go to a good home!
The only thing is **It is opened, but UNLINKED and I did use the rewards on it. I decided to give it away after I redeemed them so I'M SORRY!** Either way, I'm sure whoever wins this will enjoy it!
**Also, I LOVE my International friends but to win this cart you must reside in the United States. If you do win my random.org drawing and you are from a different country, the giveaway will be for a $10 Visa Gift card, so everyone has a chance at something**
And PLEASE help spread the word! Like last time, if you post this on your blog or FB page or wherever you may roam (hehe..threw in a little Metallica in there for my husband!) just shoot me a separate email at msalmabrooks@yahoo.com to give you more entries J
That's it! Thank you so much for all of your comments and prayers whenever we've gone through a tough time. They truly mean the world to me! J

Happy Birthday dad!
I wanted to make him a card that obviously isn't very girly but it's hard! So I came up with this quick card base and cut out the 48 from Mickey Font. I think it's the thought that counts ;)
Have a great and wonderful wednesday!! :)

Valentine's Day treat boxes
I wanted to work on some little valentine boxes to give to Jacob and Brad in the morning so they could know that I love them (as if they didn't already know!) so busted out my Gypsy, took a box from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More, cut a heart onto it and assembled it. So easy, then I filled it with candy. I then cut out two hearts from the Gypsy Wanderings cart and made them into tags. I'm sure they will care more about the candy but seriously, since having my Cricut I can't bear to buy anymore favor boxes! LOL.
P.S. I also wanted to update you guys and let you all know that my hubby was rehired by Lowe's! Praise be to God! Thank you SO much for all of your prayers and support! :)

Ladybug Birthday Invites and ramblings!
I am a HUGE believer in God and his blessings and I am so blessed because after a hard week, I had a friend message me and wanted me to custom make her some birthday invites and banners! So exciting as this is my first order! Her little girls are having a ladybug themed birthday party so these are the invites I made. I am still awaiting to see if she likes them but I put google to good use to come up with a concept and a lot of people had this design so I figure you can't go wrong! I think they came out adorable and it was completely done with George and Basic Shapes and my new favorite feature on my Expression- the centerpoint. WOW, I can't believe that I just learned how to use it! I am going to make a video on it sometime this week.
That's it! Hope you guys enjoyed the blog hop this weekend and got inspired! I do have some good news, my husband has a job interview tomorrow so please keep our family in our prayers!!! THANKS!! :)
